This Thanksgiving, I find I have so many miracles to be thankful for. I’ve noticed that I always feel my absolute best when I practice gratefulness for all the little things in my life…not just the big things. This year, however, there have been big miracles working. Just yesterday–the day before Thanksgiving–my Bailey girl (who is only 3 pounds and is as tiny and fragile as can be), fell and tumbled down my huge and hard flight of stairs. There are so many scenarios that could have played out by that accident. But, by a miracle, she was okay. She was shaken up and scared, but okay. This, along with other miracles, have been signs in my life and in my family’s life that we are so blessed.
Life is not always as put-togthether, pretty, or positive as Instagram pictures may lead you to believe. But, when miracles happen, it does make the not so put-together, ugly, and negative moments feel less burdened. My intention from this moment on, is to practice gratefulness at all times and for all things, and I encourage you to do the same.
I’m so thankful for all of the blessings in my life, including this blog and each and every one of you who take the time to read it.
I wish you a happy, healthy, and blessed Thanksgiving!
